All day disco festival to be streamed across the world this Easter weekend

A huge disco festival is set to take over the internet this Easter Sunday.

As the coronavirus lockdown continues across the country, more and more events are being cancelled or postponed to ensure social distancing.

Instead of cancelling, Liverpool’s annual Disco Festival is going live on Facebook and Instagram all day.

Sharing the news on Facebook, organisers for the event said: “So… Easter Sunday may not be going ahead in the way we had planned but we can still have a party!

“In fact, even more of you can join us as we stream Worldwide with an esteemed selection of DJ’s and friends from across the globe.

“The current climate may be disconcerting for many of us, but if there’s one thing we all know it’s that music can be the glue that holds us together and lifts our spirits; the universal language we can all understand.

“United on the dance floor we may not be, but united in our living rooms we will be!”

DJs from around the world will be playing live sets throughout the day, including DJ Rahaan, Marcel Vogel, Queen & Disco, James Morgan, John Morales and more.

The festival will be broadcast live from 12pm on Sunday, April 12 via the Liverpool Disco Festival Facebook page and Instagram account.
