Taking place in an air-conditioned convention hall in Impact Muang Thong Thani, the Indoor Eliminator Fun Race 2019 promises to be one of the year's coolest cycling competitions.

The event, to be held from June 20-23, is part of the Bicycle Super Sale fair where bikes, parts and accessories from various brands will be on sale. The Fun Race is, in fact, two races: the Pump Track Battle and the Balance Bike Super Cross. The first is open to riders of any age, while the second is for children aged between two and eight.

Purpose-built twin tracks will be in place for the event. Two riders will compete in each run, with the faster one progressing to the next round. The winners will be awarded cash prizes worth over 70,000 baht.

Should riders wish to practise ahead of the competition, there are currently three permanent pump tracks which can be used for training: Riders Park in Nakhon Pathom (FB: Riders Park Thailand Salaya), 35km west of Bangkok; Band Bike Shop Bang Phra in Chon Buri (FB: Bandbike Shop), 109km southeast of Bangkok; and The Velo's Hotel & Pump Track in Sa Kaew (FB: Pump Track Thailand), 246km east of Bangkok.

The Indoor Eliminator Fun Race 2019 requires an entrance fee of 500 baht from each racer. For more information, call 098-975-3159 or email gorn_t8bikerider@hotmail.com.
