The next character coming to Destiny: Rising is Ikora, the Hidden. Much like Kabr, the Resolute is a five-star version of regular Kabr; the new Ikora is a five-star version of the regular Ikora. Her banner arrives on Feb. 12 and lasts until Mar. 12.

Throughout the season, you can get one copy of Ikora, the Hidden for free from the Hidden Liaison draw event. The event awards 60 “Hidden ‘Bon Voyage’ Charms” that you can only spend on Ikora’s banner, guaranteeing a Mythic character.

There has been no official information regarding Ikora’s kit, but leaks suggest a more mobile and ability-spamming kit while still wielding a grenade launcher and rocket launcher weapon combo.

Here’s a brief overview of Ikora’s abilities based on leaks:

  • Stellar Projection: Fires projectiles that overpenetrate combatants. Affected targets detonate after a certain period of time.
  • Void Traversal: Ikora dashes forward, reloading and overflowing the drawn weapon. The ability also generates micro black holes that launch when firing a weapon, dealing damage, and pulling in combatants.
  • Starfall: Channels and unleashes Void energy, projecting Stardust on the ground, locking onto combatants, and summoning a Starfall above them. Locking onto targets increases their damage taken and confines them. Starfall projectiles descend and explode on impact.
  • Passive: Accumulates Annihilating Light stacks. At a certain number of stacks, Ikora enters the Void Annihilation state, which grants Void Traversal charges and empowers it.

There are additional passives and modifiers that increase ability damage, grant more Stellar Projection charges, allow Stellar Projection to chain targets together to transfer damage, and grant overshield when dealing damage with an ability.

There’s one rumored Destiny: Rising character yet to be released, who seems to be a Void Warlock, too. The character’s kit is more supportive, with terminology and descriptions centered around some form of nectar and insects.

Here’s the rough overview of this character’s abilities, based on leaks:

  • Signature ability: Throws a Void orb that bounces up to five times, dealing damage and also creating a healing pool on the first bounce.
  • Signature ability: Switches between two states, releasing damaging or healing projectiles, depending on the state.
  • Signature ability: Charge an explosion that transitions between states. Use the ability again to unleash the explosion, creating damaging shells or healing pickups, depending on the state.
  • Passive: Healing an ally with any ability grants them increased damage while draining their health. When the damage boost ends, it restores the health lost.

There are a couple of more abilities/passive effects that improve healing and deal additional damage. Those are likely the Relic traits or the character’s Talents/Constellations.

As always with leaks, take them with a grain of salt, as abilities and certain details might change closer to the release. That is, if the character comes out at all. More characters and their leaks will likely surface over time, so keep an eye out for new information and save your pulls accordingly.
