As a character-based gacha game, new Lighbearers will consistently join Destiny: Rising‘s roster. Each character has a unique backstory and abilities, so if you’re saving your pulls, it’s worth checking out what characters are set to arrive in the near future.
Here’s everything we know about upcoming characters in Destiny: Rising.
All confirmed upcoming characters in Destiny Rising

The next character coming to Destiny: Rising is Helhest. She’s an Arc support character who uses drones that can heal and damage targets. Helhest also wields a new weapon type, a bow, alongside a linear fusion rifle in the heavy slot.
There’s no confirmed release date for Helhest yet, but Estela’s and Umeko‘s banner runs until Oct. 9, so you can expect Helhest to drop closer to that date. The new banner could also slightly overlap with the current one, like it did with Gwynn.
All rumored upcoming characters in Destiny Rising

Leaks and beta test gameplay hint at four more Lightbearers coming to Destiny: Rising. There’s no official release information for any of these characters, so take this with a grain of salt and wait until official announcements, as it’s possible some of these characters may not come out at all.
Here are all the leaked and rumored Destiny: Rising characters:
- Maru (from CBT): A five-star Void character, specializing in dealing AoE damage and using barriers. She was also seen in some of the earlier game trailers, wielding a large cannon.
- Rossi-11: An Arc support Warlock who can grant overshields.
- Jaren Ward: A Solar Hunter with the High Noon Duel Super that automatically aims at weak spots while continuously firing.
More characters and their leaks will likely surface as time goes on, so keep an eye out for new information and save your pulls accordingly.
