All change at Cumnock as boss Tony McInally leaves Townhead Park

Cumnock are looking for a new manager this week after Tony McInally's exit yesterday.

The experienced gaffer parted company with the Townhead Park club by "mutual agreement" following the 2-0 West of Scotland League Premier Division defeat at Kilbirnie Ladeside on Saturday.

It was a third straight two-goal loss for 'Nock who are without a win in four and were knocked out of the South Challenge Cup by Premier Division basement boys Blantyre Vics.

The East Ayrshire big guns lie in 12th place in the 20-team table with 22 points and have lost nine of their 17 league games so far.

Anywhere between six and eight clubs could be relegated to the Championship come the end of the season, ensuring a cut-throat top flight campaign.

McInally's coaching staff consisting of assistant Mark Cameron and coaches Stewart Ralston and Brian Whelan have also left the club.

The dugout clearout suggests 'Nock could be set to make a quick appointment with a league trip to Rutherglen Glencairn ahead this weekend.

A club statement read: "Cumnock Juniors Football Club can confirm Tony McInally and his management team have left the club by mutual agreement.

"We would like to thank Tony, Mark, Stewart and Brian for all their efforts and wish them every success in the future."

Other managerial departures at Ayrshire WoSFL clubs this season include Shaun Dillon and Thomas Molloy replacing Martin Ferry at Kilbirnie; Derek Frye coming in for Iain McMillan at Saltcoats Vics and Tony McNally taking charge at Kello Rovers after Scott Clelland resigned.
