All Blacks to play All Blacks in 'once in a generation' match on Saturday as two phenomenal teams named

New Zealand rugby's biggest stars will face each other this weekend in a once in a generation match.

A North v South match will take place in Wellington this Saturday and the two teams that have been named are unsurprisingly full of stars.

Across the two teams, there are some mouth-watering match-ups - most notably the battle between All Black fly-halves Beauden Barrett and Richie Mo'unga.

The two face off while Barrett will also be up against brother Jordie who has been named at fullback for the South.

Joining Auckland Blues playmaker Barrett in the North Side are a number of stars - including Hoskins Sotutu, TJ Perenara, Rieko Ioane, Anton Lienert-Brown, Caleb Clarke, Sevu Reece and Damian McKenzie.

Meanwhile, the South are able to call upon the likes of George Bridge, Will Jordan, Jack Goodhue and Brad Weber.

Both sides are being coached by one of new All Blacks coach Ian Foster's assistants - with John Plumtree taking the North side and former Scarlets coach Brad Moaar leading the South outfit.

Speaking ahead of Saturday, Mooar said: "It's always hard to pick those in the 23 and all 28 in our squad could've been selected.

"We have a fantastic group of men who have all made the most of this week, building relationships and having fun with each other as well as learning new things and formulating our game plan.

"There's been lots of good-natured banter between the teams and a lot of parochial rivalry."

"The only thing missing at the stadium will be the fans and we're really disappointed we can't share the experience there with them.

"We know there will be a huge audience watching at home so we hope they'll enjoy what's shaping up as match for the history books."
