All Blacks leave rugby world in awe after stunning win over Australia

The All Blacks put on a stunning show of attacking rugby as they demolished Australia 57-22 in Auckland.

It was a record win against the Wallabies, with New Zealand scoring eight tries as they wowed rugby fans around the globe.

The level of flair and creativity was in stark contrast to the largely turgid fare served up by South Africa and the Lions in recent weeks, with many fans predictably highlighting the difference in approach.

Hooker Codie Taylor scored twice, while Rieko Ioane, Brodie Retallick, Ardie Savea, Sevu Reece, Will Jordan and David Havili also crossed.

The Wallabies scored three tries of their own but they were simply overwhelmed by the clinical hosts, who secured the Bledisloe Cup after last weekend's victory.

The pick of the tries was Retalick's 80m effort - the move starting inside the New Zealand 22 and finishing under the posts four passes later.

A disappointing crowd of just 25,121 watched the match, though, after the decision to stage a second consecutive All Blacks v Wallabies match at the stadium rather than elsewhere in the country a week after the first.

South Africa play Argentina later on Saturday on the opening weekend of the Rugby Championship.
