All Blacks boost for Ireland clash as Brodie Retallick returns

Brodie Retallick has been passed fit to face Ireland in a boost for the All Blacks ahead of Saturday's Test at the Aviva Stadium.

The giant lock suffered a shoulder injury in his side's 54-16 demolition of Wales two weeks ago and was ruled out for the 47-9 win over Italy in Rome yesterday.

However, All Blacks assistant coach Sam Whitelock confirmed Retallick's return to full fitness this evening.

New Zealand set world records for the most test points and tries scored in a calendar year as a rotated team ran in seven tries at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome ahead of their trip to Dublin.

Dane Coles and Asafo Aumua helped themselves to two tries each - while Finlay Christie, Sevu Reece and Hoskins Sotutu also crossed the white line.

Brad Weber and Seve Reece were injured at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome and it remains to be seen if they will be passed fit to face Andy Farrell's men.
