All Black Ops 7 Ranked Play maps and modes

Knowing the full pool of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Ranked Play maps and modes is important if you want to stay ahead in the competitive mode and quickly rise through the ranks.

Black Ops 7 Ranked Play replicates the Call of Duty League (CDL) gameplay experience as closely as possible. That means tighter rules and settings as well as specific maps and modes that reflect what the pros are playing. If you already follow the CDL, much of this will feel familiar, but for everyone else jumping into ranked, getting up to speed on the current map and mode rotation is crucial.

Here’s a complete breakdown of every map and mode in BO7 Ranked Play.

Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, and Overload remain the core modes in BO7 Ranked Play. However, a new update Season 3 has shaken things up following the Ranked Play Map Evaluation, adopting the lineup for the 2026 CDL Major 3 Qualifiers. Several additions and removals have been made across the modes, giving ranked grinders new rotations and strategies to master.

Hardpoint

  • Cliff Town
  • Colossus
  • Den
  • Gridlock
  • Sake
  • Scar

Search & Destroy

  • Den
  • Fringe
  • Gridlock
  • Plaza
  • Raid
  • Scar

Overload

  • Den
  • Exposure
  • Scar

Season 3 introduces several key adjustments to the BO7 Ranked Play map pool, particularly in Hardpoint and Search & Destroy modes.

In Hardpoint, Season 2 maps Cliff Town (a reimagined version of Yemen from Black Ops 2) and Sake as well as Season 3 addition Gridlock (remaster from BO4) have been added to the rotation, while Exposure and Blackheart have been removed. For Search & Destroy, Fringe (remaster from BO3), Gridlock, and Plaza (remaster from BO2) join the map pool, replacing Exposure and Colossus.

It’s also worth noting that both Hardpoint and Search & Destroy now feature one additional map each compared to the previous season, slightly increasing variety and map knowledge requirements.

Meanwhile, Overload remains unchanged, with its map pool of Den, Exposure, and Scar carrying over from the previous season. For more details, you can check out the full CDL competitive settings.
