Positive Covid tests in the Liverpool CIty Region have risen in all of its six areas.
According to the latest data from Public Health England, the City Region recorded 7,984 cases in the week ending July 18, which is 445 more cases than in the previous week.
This means the week on week percentage change increased by 6%.

Of all the City Region areas, the highest reported week-on-week increase is in Halton, where there was a 25% rise.
St Helens had the second highest reported a week-on-week increase with 14%.
In areas close to the City Region, infections also rose in Cheshire West and Chester, Warrington, and West Lancs.
In England, positive tests rose overall. In the week ending July 18, England recorded 302,660 coronavirus cases, which is 99,486 more cases than in the previous seven days.
Liverpool
Liverpool's positive tests came to 2,514 cases in the week ending July 18, which is 74 more cases than in the previous week. This meant the week-on-week percentage change increased by 3%.
The latest infection rate was 504.8 cases per 100,000 people.
Knowsley
There was a total of 814 cases in the week ending July 18, which is 33 more cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 539.6 cases per 100,000 people and the number of cases increased by 4% week on week.
Sefton
In Sefton, there were 1,343 cases in the week ending July 18, which is 14 more cases than in the previous week. This means the week-on-week percentage change increased by 1%.
The latest infection rate was 485.9 per 100,000 people.
Halton
There were 594 positive tests over the last week, which is 117 more cases than in the previous week.
This means the week-on-week percentage change increased by 25% in the week ending July 18. The latest infection rate is 459.0 cases per 100,000 people.
St Helens
There were 1017 positive tests in the week ending July 18, which is 123 more cases than in the previous week.
The latest infection rate was 563.2 cases per 100,000 people. The week-on-week percentage change in St Helens increased by 14%.
Wirral
There were 1,702 positive tests in the week ending July 18, which is 84 more cases than in the previous week. Wirral 's week-on-week percentage change increased by 5%. The latest infection rate was 525.3 cases per 100,000 people.
Liverpool City Region
There were 7,984 positive tests over in the week ending July 18, which is 445 more cases than in the previous week.
This means the week on week percentage change increased by 6%. The latest infection rate is 468.89 cases per 100,000 people.
West Lancs
West Lancashire recorded 654 coronavirus cases in the week ending July 18, which is 196 more cases than in the previous seven days.
There was an infection rate of 572.15 per 100,000 people, and there was a week on week percentage increase of 43% in infections.
Warrington
There were 1,418 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending July 18, which is 467 more cases than the previous week.
The week on week percentage figure increased by 49%. There was an infection rate of 675.19 per 100,000 people.
Cheshire West and Chester
There were 1,753 positive Covid-19 tests in the week ending July 18, which is 525 more cases than the previous week.
The latest infection rate is 510.97 cases per 100,000 people, and there was a week on week percentage increase of 43% in cases.
England
In England in the week ending July 18, there was an infection rate of 537.71 per 100,000 people.
The nation recorded 302,660 coronavirus cases, which is 99,486 more cases than in the previous seven days.
There was a week on week percentage increase of 49% in cases.
