Ellie Goulding is set to say ‘I do’ to her fiancé Caspar Jopling in York this weekend.
As the singer makes the final preparations for her big day, it’s probably time to turn the spotlight on to the man she will be spending the rest of her life with.
Caspar Jopling hails from an aristocratic family from York, which is why the couple are choosing to say their vows in the North.
He is a New York-based art dealer for Sotheby’s auction house, and is the son of The Honourable Nicholas Jopling and Jayne Warde-Aldam.
Caspar is also the grandson of politician Michael Jopling, and the nephew of White Cube founder Jay Jopling.

The Jopling family live at Frickley Hall, a Grade II listed home and estate just northwest of Doncaster.
The 27-year-old has three sisters named Wiz Warde-Aldam, Connie Warde-Aldam and Charlotte Jopling.
Caspar studied at Eton College in Windsor, before going on to earn a degree from Harvard University in Massachusetts.

He then moved to New York City, where he currently lives in an apartment in SoHo with Ellie, who he has been with for around a year and a half.
Adorably, he refers to Ellie by her real name - Elena.
Caspar has many royal connections, and is said to be very good friends with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, with the younger royal making an appearance on Caspar’s Instagram .
The sisters and their mum Sarah Ferguson have reportedly been invited to the wedding alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Caspar is a keen sportsman and was a rower for Team GB at the Youth Olympics in Singapore in 2010 - his photo is even up on one of the walls at Heathrow airport.
He is said to be around 6’2” tall and worth around £6.6million.
Caspar and Ellie are set to tie the knot at York Minster cathedral at 3pm on August 31, followed by a grand reception at the 18th-century Castle Howard around 15-miles away.
