The Ryuhyo Monogatari sight-seeing train departs from Kitahama Station in Abashiri, Hokkaido, on Saturday. The service runs between Abashiri and Shiretoko-shari stations along the Okhotsk coast, a popular drift ice viewing area. The train makes two round trips a day through March 1.
