After celebrating its centennial birthday two years ago, Hua Lamphong Railway Station -- one of Bangkok's iconic symbols -- is expected to undergo a lot of changes. The State Railway of Thailand said Hua Lamphong would soon be turned into a museum and its infrastructure adjusted to only allow for short and tourism rides.

The rest of the services will, however, move to the new central station located in Bangkok's Bang Sue district and expected to open next year.
