'All a bit repetitive now' Leeds United fans suffering from deja vu at half-time of Preston clash

It was a familiar story for Leeds United in the first half of their match against Preston North End at Deepdale on Tuesday night as the two sides went in 0-0 at the break.

As has been the story for so much of this season, fans were left frustrated by their inability to make chances count in the opening 45 minutes.

Marcelo Bielsa named an unchanged starting XI and bench, with the Whites boss still unable to call upon injured quartet Liam Cooper, Adam Forshaw, Jamie Shackleton and Pablo Hernandez.

The game got off to a physical start, with athleticism trumping quality, although both sides were able to fashion a number of half-chances.

Patrick Bamford had a number of opportunities to end his barren spell in front of goal, while Preston almost capitalised on a poor backpass by Gaetano Berardi, who had Kiko Casilla to thank after the Leeds stopper was quick off his line to deny Brad Potts.

Gjanni Alioski was guilty of spurning Leeds' best chance of the half, when Mateusz Klich found Jack Harrison who set up the North Macedonian, only for him to shoot wide. Ben White then had a chance when the ball fell to him following a corner, but he shot tamely at Declan Rudd.

Here's how Leeds fans reacted to the opening 45 minutes...
