Alki David, the British billionaire trying to buy Barcelona stadium’s naming rights, plans to ‘clone his wife’

British billionaire Alki David remains interested in securing the naming rights deal for Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium with his cannabis company and claims he could bring 'great ideas' to the Catalan club, before revealing plans to 'clone his wife'.

Barca announced last week that they are putting the naming rights for the Camp Nou up for sale to raise money for the fight against coronavirus and David revealed he was confident of striking an agreement with the club.

“Our influence would be really, really welcome," he told Sky Sports.

David, who runs the cannabis company Swissx with former boxing world champion Mike Tyson, also dismissed negativity from fans over the possible link-up.

“Come on guys, it’s the evolution," he said. "Before it was Nou Stadium (sic), it was something else. So come on, get over it. The legalisation of cannabis… Queen Victoria said that cannabis was the most important medicine that we have.

"I’m going to be bringing in great talent, great ideas, finance. What choice do people have other than to embrace the evolution of the new world?”

In the interview, David also goes on to discuss one of those ideas as he reveals that he has cloned his dog.

“Right down to the black birth mark on the tongue," he said. "Identical in every way atomically. He was created by my head of genetics.

And he added: "We’ve now started to clone my wife.”
