It appears that the battle of the Alexes/Alixes (however you wanna spell it) is raging on, with Alix Earle awkwardly dodging a question about her bubbling feud with Alex Cooper on national TV.
During her appearance on the US’ Today show, anchor Craig Melvin attempted to sway the influencer into spilling the real tea surrounding her feud with Cooper.
“I’m trying to keep things pretty positive today, you know?” Earle fired back.
“We don’t have that much time here, honestly. Also, why ruin such a good day with something not so great, you know? Positive vibes.”
Alix Earle says her beef with Alex Cooper is ‘exaggerated’
Despite her pleas for “positive vibes”, Melvin still got messy and pressed on, asking about the feud, questioning whether there’s “some sort of legitimate contentiousness or has it all been exaggerated?”.
“Um, no, it’s exaggerated. I love everyone,” Earle responded before Melvin said he’s “not buying it”.
Later in the interview, Melvin joked that he felt bad for asking about her “beef”, with Earle giggling in response.
The battle of the Alexes/Alixies first kicked off last year when Earle’s podcast, Hot Mess with Alix Earle, was axed by Cooper’s entertainment company, The Unwell Network.
Addressing the big podcast shake-up, Earle shared a TikTok in February 2025, claiming she has “no idea what’s going on”, before uploading a second TikTok where she told fans she can’t get into the details of it all right now, but I’ve loved it so much, and I’m really proud of what I built with the podcast”.
However, shit truly hit the fan when Earle reposted a TikTok in April, which called Copper an “ambulance chaser” who’s “profiting off of women’s heartache and failure… that’s not girl power”.
In response to the repost, Cooper shared a candid TikTok calling out Earle head-on.
“Alix Earle, hey girl. The passive-aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things, I gotta call you out here… You’re gonna need to get specific and just say what you gotta say about me. There’s no NDA, no one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself. What’s the beef?,” Cooper clapped back.
In response, Earle commented, “Okay on it!!!”
However, she has yet to address the beef at all.
Why hasn’t Alix Earle responded to the Alex Cooper TikTok?
Legendary gossip sleuth Deuxmoi, she claimed that the influencer is being strategic with her response, predicting that she will officially address the drama in her upcoming Netflix docuseries.
“I mean, people seem to think that she’s going to talk about it on her Netflix show, which I think premieres at the end of the year,” Deuxmoi said during an interview with The Moment podcast.
Until then, it looks like we’ll have to wait for that “on it” response. Maybe she’s recording it right now.
