Celtic star Jota has been brutally trolled by his teammate Alistair Johnston over his lack of game time at Benfica.
The Portuguese winger was on the books of his boyhood heroes before venturing to Scotland in the summer of 2021.
The winger came through the academy at the Portuguese giants, signing for their youth team in 2007.
Jota spent three years in the B team before being handed his first team debut in 2019.
He went on to make 23 first-team appearances for the Liston outfit.
The 24-year-old then spent a season on loan at Real Valladolid in Spain, before joining Celtic, initially on loan, the following year.
The dynamic attacker hit the ground running in Glasgow and has never looked back under Ange Postecoglou's stewardship.
That doesn't mean there aren't still some sore points about his footballing past.
Jota appeared alongside Johnston and Carl Starfelt in an interview of the new Celtic View podcast.
And in a teaser clip posted on Twitter, it was here that Canadian international Johnston hit the target with his brutal wind-up.
Each of the players were set the task of answering a series of quick-fire quiz questions about their teammates' careers.
At one point, right-back Johnston was asked: "Where did Celtic sign Jota from?"
Quick with his witty replu, AJ joked: “Bench-fica”, which was cleary a cheeky reference to Jota's lack of game-time at his previous club.
The two players gently shoved one another as Jota called out his teammate.
He responded: “Come on, respect Benfica, say it right! C’mon. Sport Lisboa e Benfica.”
