Alisson has shared what Roberto Firmino told him about his injury after Liverpool’s win over Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.
The Brazilian kept a clean sheet at Anfield as Jurgen Klopp’s secured top spot in their group and a place in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Early goals from Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane, combined with a red card for Atletico defender Felipe, ensured a comfortable win for Liverpool , though there was one disappointing moment for the Reds.
Half-time substitute Firmino limped off with a hamstring injury on 78 minutes and Alisson explained what his countryman had said after the final whistle.

“I hope it’s nothing serious,” Alisson told TNT Sports , as reported by Sport Witness .
“I talked to him a bit. I believe that in these moments it’s more worry and precaution too."
He continued: “He will probably have an exam there, normally this is the procedure. But I believe it’s nothing serious.
“I hope that soon he can be training, be playing, and that he won’t be left out of the national team either.”
Firmino has suffered a hamstring injury already this season, after going down in Liverpool’s draw with Chelsea in August.
The 30-year-old was previously side-lined for a few weeks, but Alisson’s indication that his substitution was a precaution could be a positive sign.
The Brazil forward’s injury was the only complaint that Jurgen Klopp had after the win against Atletico, having described their qualification from the group as “pretty special”.
“If Bobby hadn’t gone off with a hamstring injury, that would have been much better”, the Reds boss said .
“From pretty much all other points of view, it was a good performance.
“We tried to get through this game pretty mature, and still it didn’t work out. Bobby got injured and that’s not good.”
