Liverpool shot stopper Alisson admits he could've joined Liverpool as early as 2013 having been scouted by the Reds while at Internacional.
In the end Roma were the club who bought him to Europe and he excelled in Serie A before Liverpool parted with £66m to bring him to Anfield.
He has more than justified that fee since signing last summer and already has a Champions League medal to show for his efforts.
The 27-year-old pulled off a vital save in a win over Napoli - tonight's opponents - last season to ensure Liverpool progressed from a challenging group, but the Kop could've been revelling in the Brazilian's quality six-year-ago.

"Someone told me in 2013 that there was from a coach from Liverpool looking at me, but I didn't really believe him," Alisson told the Independent .
"Now it's hard to take in all that has happened and to know there is still so much still to come here."
Alisson had to sit out the opening months of the season having suffered an injury during Liverpool's win against Norwich.

He was restored to the starting XI the minute he was match fit and tonight will be tasked with keeping the likes of Dries Mertens scoreless on Merseyside.
But Alisson could have been playing for the Italian side had he taken up their offer over Liverpool's less than 18 months ago.
"Napoli tried to bid for me," Alisson admitted.
"The president came to me, but if I went to Naples from Roma, I was going to put myself in a tough situation in Italy.
?It's not an official derby, but there's a big rivalry between the teams. I admire Napoli a lot, they have a top squad and it's always hard to play against them, especially when they are at home.
"But I was committed to joining Liverpool."
