Alisson Becker sends Liverpool positive injury news

Alisson Becker has told Liverpool supporters he will be 'back soon'.

The goalkeeper sat out the last two fixtures after suffering a hamstring injury during the 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion last month with academy graduate Caoimhin Kelleher standing in during his absence.

Becker will miss the Champions League trip to FC Midtjylland this week but told his followers on Instagram he is closing in on a return.

'Back soon' read the simple post accompanied by a photo of the Liverpool star.

Speaking ahead of the game with Midtjylland - and having already qualified for the knockout stages - manager Jurgen Klopp delivered a positive injury outlook.

"No [update], which is good news," he said.

Take our 30-second Liverpool transfer survey and let us know what Jurgen Klopp needs to do in the January window.

"Nobody suffered any kind of problem or injuries or whatever from the last game which would rule him out for the next one.

"On the other side, nobody is close enough to return to the squad."
