Alisson Becker on the big advantage Liverpool's Marbella trip gives them for Champions League final

Alisson Becker believes the climate of their warm-weather training camp in Marbella is the perfect way to prepare for the Champions League final.

The Reds are currently four days into their stay as Jurgen Klopp continues to put his players through their paces ahead of the biggest game in club football against Tottenham in Madrid on June 1.

Temperatures in Marbella have reached around 25C this week as Klopp runs through some final preparations ahead of the Reds' second successive appearance in the European showpiece.

For Alisson, victory against Spurs next Saturday would cap off a fine debut season at Anfield in stunning style, and the Brazil international admits the game is the biggest of his career to date.

And Liverpool's No.13 thinks the Spanish sun will give him and his team-mates an ideal insight into how the climate might play a part at the Wanda Metropolitano at the beginning of next month.

"For preparation it is good for us, it keeps the mind free from outside things and for us, we can spend more time together, speak more and that is important to achieve great things," he told Liverpoolfc.com.

"It is the perfect weather to work. It is a bit hot compared to what we're used to, but it is the [same] weather we will find in Madrid, so it's good for us.

"I can't wait, since we finished the Premier League season, it was 20 days to prepare for this final. I am looking forward to playing in this big game, it is maybe the biggest game in my life."

Alisson ended his first season as a Premier League goalkeeper with the Golden Glove, having kept a whopping 21 clean sheets.

The £65million shot-stopper was honoured to win the award but highlighted the role his team-mates played in him receiving the accolade.

He added: "It was such an honour to take a big award in football.

"It is an award not just for me but my team-mates who also help and work hard to keep clean sheets. That is the target for everyone."
