Alison Hammond became rather emotional on Thursday's This Morning as she interviewed a man who has run 27 marathons to save his wife's life.
Captain Scott Fisher appeared on the ITV programme today has he completed his challenge to raise money and awareness about Mast Cell Action.
Scott - who appeared on This Morning in December at the beginning of his challenge - had the target of raising £27,000 after his wife Megan was diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome following the birth of their daughter Molly Rose.
He’s now smashed that figure and has raised an impressive £215,000 as he appeared on today’s show.
Host Dermot O’Leary asked Scott how he’s feeling, to which he replied: "A little bit tight Dermot, I’m not going to lie."
Alison then asked Megan how she is and she said: "I’m ok, certainly better than I was feeling a few weeks ago. I’m just super proud of what’s happened today."
Dermot added that she must be immensely proud of her husband as Megan continued: "I am, I’ve spent more time with him in the last 27 days than I have over the whole relationship and marriage."
Scott explained how life has changed since he began the challenge and said: "My life has gone absolutely crazy.

"A lot of people look for fame and want fame - and I don’t think I’m famous by any stretch but by gosh, I take my hat off to you people who are constantly in the limelight, because even a couple of thousand people wanting to know me has been fairly taxing, I’m not going to lie."
Scott continued: "Originally we had a target of £27,000 and we absolutely eclipsed that. A massive thanks to Rochelle [Humes] and Vernon [Kay] because they were really the catalyst for this - they really got behind it, and everyone at ITV.
"After that had happened, I spoke to the charity and we set a new target of £270,000 and to be honest with you, it made me really uncomfortable to change the target because that’s not the type of person I am.

"But I had a look at their accounts on the sly - and they don’t know that - and I’ve raised over a thousand per cent of what they earn in a year. Christmas Day alone I raised 50 per cent of what they usually do in a year."
Scott then explained that he ran two marathons on Christmas Eve: "I did a bit of a double marathon. I started just after 6 o’clock and finished at half one on Christmas morning which means I could be there for presents."
At the end of the chat, Alison became quite emotional as she thanked Scott for speaking with them today.
"Massive round of applause for our Scott, awwwwww that's incredible," Alison said clapping.
"Awwwwww how incredible is that?" she then asked as Dermot shouted: "Now you're crying!"
"Oh don't! It got me!" Alison replied as she composed herself and cracked on with Thursday's show.
Viewers were equally impressed with Scott and took to Twitter to comment.
"Well done Scott for your awesome efforts in raising funds to help so many people," one person posted.
A second tweeted: "Amazing work Scott! #ThisMorning," while a third said: "Well done Scott 27 marathons in 27 days is quite incredible achievement #ThisMorning."
Another viewer added: "Good for you Scott #ThisMorning."
