Alison Hammond screams in shock as Ant and Dec gatecrash ITV This Morning studio

Geordie TV duo Ant and Dec caused quite a stir on Friday's This Morning when they gatecrashed the live ITV show and caused Alison Hammond to scream in shock. The Saturday Night Takeaway presenters stormed into the London studio with the iconic Takeaway music blasting.

Ant and Dec wore sparkling tuxedo jackets as they barged through the double doors in to the studio. Alison Hammond screamed and launched out of her seat, grabbing onto Dermot's shoulders whilst he looked on in shock. Ant set off a confetti cannon whilst Dec played a pair of marching cymbals.

The This Morning presenters had just finished a segment on dreams when the pair surprised them. "I thought you were next door!" Dermot shouted over the noise and Alison, who started laughing, added: "What are you doing?".

"I'll tell you what we're doing, we had a weird dream that Saturday Night Takeaway was back on tomorrow night and our dream is coming true!" Ant explained. Dec added: “We were actually just passing, we were on our way to film something for tomorrow night's show but we just wanted to remind you and everybody because we had a week off last week because of the rugby... we’re back tomorrow night at 7pm!”
