Alison Hammond has given fans an eye-opening look at how she dropped 11 stone over five years.
The This Morning host, who weighed 28 stone at her heaviest, got down to 16 and a half stone and reversed a pre-diabetic diagnosis.
The 50-year-old previously revealed she had heard “scare stories” about weight loss injections and was too “frightened” to try them.
She has instead been committing to fitness sessions with a personal trainer and overhauled her diet.
In a post over the weekend, Hammond detailed some of the “simple changes” she has undertaken to slimline her figure, including various fitness tricks.
The Great British Bake Off host - who recently moved in with her boyfriend in London - re-shared her longtime personal trainer Ellis Gatfield’s Instagram video, which charted her progress over the years.
The clip showed her using resistance bands to sit up and out of a chair as well as going for a weighted cycle around her local area.
Hammond shared her gratitude to Ellis in the caption: “Massive thank you to the incredible @ellisgatfield who started my whole fitness journey,” the TV star wrote.
“I will never forget the time you put into me and how gentle and kind you was when I was struggling. You have made my life so much easier by simple changes and kindness I will never forget.
“You never looked down on me and this I will always be grateful for.”
She concluded: “So happy you can still check in on me and push me and make me accountable.”

Hammond’s body transformation followed years of ups and downs with her weight, including undergoing a gastric band in 2007, which she later had removed after her body rejected it.
Her mother Maria had raised concerns when Hammond was diagnosed pre-diabetic and the TV star decided to address her health issues after Maria died in 2020 from lung and liver cancer.
“I've got a personal trainer - she's amazing, she trains me when I can train,” she previously told Heat.
“If I'm working, I don't train, I'll go for a walk. But when I'm at home, I'll go and have a session with her in the morning, just an hour. It might be four days a week.”
As for her diet, Hammond starts her day with an immune system-boosting ginger shot and a Full English breakfast, consisting of eggs, bacon and sausages, which she will sit down to enjoy with her son Aiden.

When she is working, she will typically eat Caribbean food for lunch, such as rice, peas and chicken, and if she is at home, she’ll cook herself lasagne.
Of her evening meals, she told the Sunday Times magazine: “If I'm staying in I'll rustle up curried goat and rice or chicken fried rice.”
In terms of her personal life, Hammond recently revealed she has moved in with her boyfriend, Russian masseuse David Putman.
She struck up a friendship with Putman, 28, when she was his client in 2023 and went public with their romance on Instagram in April 2024.

The couple made their red carpet debut two months later alongside Hammond’s son Aiden, 20.
Last month, Hammond raved about her “rare” love with Putman, who is 22 years younger than her, and reflected on whether they have plans to marry in the future.
“Things are going really, really well. He just has the most beautiful energy, and everyone feels it when they’re in his presence,” she told The Mirror.
“It’s very rare. I am so grateful that he chooses to spend his life with me.”

She added that being in love has made her “kinder” and “more patient” and said she cherishes having someone to “care for”.
The TV star has no plans to marry Putman, however, although the pair do now live together.
“No, there are no plans for weddings or marriage right now, because we don’t feel like we need to,” she said.
“We live together, and we’re happy the way it is. I don’t need a ring to show my love to somebody. What I will say is, if he asked me tomorrow to marry him, it wouldn’t be a ‘no’. That’s all I’m going to say to you.”
