Alison Hammond left baffled as Kaye Adams says she looks like she's lactating

This Morning host Alison Hammond looked stunned on Tuesday's show when Loose Women's Kaye Adams pointed out a stain on her top, before asking if she had been lactating.

Speaking alongside co host Dermot O'Leary, Alison was introducing what was to come on the show as she cut to the Loose Women studio.

"Welcome back, I have just spilled my water, I do apologise if you see anything on my chest area, I think it blends with the navy, don't worry about anything," said Alison.

Dermot peered over and remarked: "Chesticles are okay."

As the hosts cut to the Loose Women, Kaye said: "Hi there Alison, you've got a stain on your chest area.

"It really shows up on the navy!" added her fellow panelist Nadia Sawahla.

Alison, who has a 15-year-old son named Aiden, replied: " It's only water, it will dry off."

Kaye said: "I thought you were lactating there, anyway.... Did I say that out loud?" she suddenly looked horrified as Nadia told her: "Yes, you did!"

Earlier on in the show, Alison made an impassioned plea to the British public to "leave Prince Harry alone" as he grieves for his grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh.

She was discussing Harry and his brother Prince William's very different statements about Prince Philip's death, with co host Dermot O'Leary, Vanessa Feltz and Tom Swarbrick.

Alison asked: "Lots of eyes are on William and Harry at the moment, do we need to be worrying about William and Harry and their relationship?"

Prince Harry called his grandfather a "legend of banter" (PA)

Tom replied: "The 'legend of banter' stuff is a bit discordant with the national mood and the sombre way people are responding to it, but it's his grandfather, it's his grief, so even if it is a bit like what a teenager might say, actually it's his relationship, let's back off."

Alison remarked: "I feel like whatever Harry says now, he is going to be criticised, and I think it's so unfair.

"Leave him alone, he's just lost his grandad, leave him alone."
