Alison Hammond forgets words during This Morning Nativity play - ‘You had one job!’

This Morning presenter Alison Hammond was castigated by viewers for forgetting her words in the Nativity play.

Children from Northwood Park Primary School in Wolverhampton appeared on the show to perform their final play together.

The live show didn’t exactly go to plan though, with Alison Hammond stumbling on her words and the baby Jesus crying through the show.

Alison starred as the angelic narrator for the play, but forgot her words halfway through.

She said: “Oh sorry I’ve gone wrong!

“I’ve got it wrong.”

Viewers slammed Alison for forgetting her words (ITV)

The presenter then managed to pick things back up as she remembered her key line, before the spotlight turned to the kids.

Viewers were outraged at Alison for messing up the show, with one saying: “Alison you had one job in the school Nativity. The children were amazing though.”

Another said: “At least the kids got it right if Alison Hammond could not.”

Other watchers were left in tears by the play, with one saying the show was ‘amazing’.

One viewer said: “Why am I crying at the children’s Nativity play on This Morning?”

Another said: “These kids are just precious. I actually cried watching their Nativity.”
