Alison Hammond fans 'thrown off guard' as This Morning co-host spotted in new role

Fans of This Morning presenter Alison Hammond were 'thrown off guard' after they spotted the presenter in Stormzy’s new music video. The 48-year-old, who found fame on the third series of Big Brother in 2002, plays the role of a therapist in the rap artist’s collaboration with Fredo - new track Toxic Trait.

In the video, which was released on Thursday, June 22, Alison sits down with Fredo and says: “I want you to tell me what your toxic traits are.” He then replies: “Listen I’ve just got too many man I don’t even know where to start.”

“Well just start at the beginning,” Alison says. What did you think of her in the video? Let us know in the comments.

“Seeing Alison Hammond in Stormzy’s new music vid threw me off guard. Love this from him and Fredo though,” one fan wrote after watching the new video. A second wrote: "My heart might explode."

A third said: “Alison Hammond in the new Stormzy video is unexpected.” And a fourth commented: “Seeing Alison Hammond and Specs Gonzalez in the new Stormzy video is hella random.”

Stormzy recently made his Soccer Aid debut (ITV)

Alison and Stormzy both stepped out at the Burberry British Diversity Awards in March. At the time Linda Riley, founder of the Burberry British Diversity Awards, said: "In these particularly difficult economic times it is encouraging to see that so many businesses and organisations continue to put diversity and Inclusion in the front and centre of their strategic plans.

"I’m especially pleased to see an increasing number of organisations doing more to support wellbeing and social mobility. Over the past year our nominees have realised great achievements, championing diversity of race, age, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity, religious belief or social mobility."
