Alisher Usmanov nephew expected to lead Everton search for women's sponsor

Everton are looking to secure shirt sponsorship deals for the club's women's team and Academy sides.

The Blues today confirmed that Cazoo have signed a three-year-contract with the club to become the new main sponsor from the start of next season.

Cazoo, an online car retailer, will have their branding on all first-team and under-23s' kits and training gear but the club are hoping to land a separate deal for the women's team and one for the youth sides.

Fratelli Beretta expanded their sponsorship deal with Everton last summer to become the club's first ever official Academy Partner, which saw the company's logo on the front of playing kit and shown around all Academy matches, and an extension of that deal is thought to have been discussed.

Everton's women have previously worn the main club sponsor on the front of their shirts but the Blues, as part of their plans to invest money and resources into helping improve Willie Kirk's side, are searching for a separate commercial kit deal.

Alisher Usmanov's nephew, Sarvar Ismailov, was appointed as the team's first ever sporting and commercial director in March and is expected to lead the search ahead of the start of the new WSL season, which is likely to begin in September.
