Aliens have carved an 'erotic' sculpture on asteroid, conspiracy theorist claims

A NASA photo of an asteroid has piqued the interest of a conspiracy theorist, who claims it’s not as innocent as it looks.

The asteroid, called Eros, lies around was 16 million miles away from Earth, and was photographed by NASA back in 2000.

Now, Scott C Waring of UFO Sightings Daily, claims that there’s an ‘erotic’ alien sculpture hiding in the image.

He said: “In the NASA photo index I found an erotic looking photo that appears to show the pelvis and hips of a nude woman.”

Mr Waring claims that the close-up photo shows a large figure that aliens have carved into the asteroid.

Conspiracy theorist claims there's a UFO hiding in this woman's photo

He added: “It’s possible that there is a huge sculpture of the Greek god on this asteroid.

“I don't believe in coincidences. It seems to me that NASA is hiding the rest of this sculpture and they accidentally published this particular photo of it.”

While Mr Waring believes the image shows an erotic sculpture, not everyone is so convinced.

Speaking to Mirror Online, Nigel Watson, autor of UFOs of the First World War, said: "At least this makes a change from alien buildings or faces on the Moon or Mars.

"Even if this is a statue of Eros why is it it on this asteroid? Did the Ancient Greeks visit it and set about decorating it to make it feel more like home, or did aliens inspire the ancients to copy their art?

"Or more likely this is just idol thinking based on very little evidence."
