'Aliens, dinosaurs and bears' coming to Bristol this summer

Some unusual characters are coming to Bristol this summer - and we don't just mean the tourists.

Aliens, dinosaurs and bears will be part of a new family day out launching across the South West.

The "adventure trails" allow your little ones to meet mythical creatures like dragons and unicorns in a Covid-safe way, with six themed zones for them to explore.

You can have your photo taken with bears and even embark on an African safari. A free activity booklet will guide you on your journey and give you quests to complete along the way.

Even mums and dads can enjoy a dinosaur walk through the park - but watch out for the T-Rex hiding behind that tree!

The trails (exact location to be confirmed) are the brainchild of the Odin events company and part of a move to rekindle business after the lockdown.

As well as the Bristol spot, UK Adventure Trails is opening parks in Cirencester, Plymouth and Norfolk, which - as they are outside with plenty of space - lend themselves to Covid safety.
