New York street artist UFO907 is putting his works on display at "Zero To Hero" exhibition which are on view now until tomorrow on the G Floor of Siam Discovery on Rama I.
The exhibition is part of "Siam Discovery: Discovery Street Culture", one of Thailand's biggest events that unites street art culture, which runs now until March 27 also at Siam Discovery.
The mural designer and graffiti artist, whose work stood out from the art scene in 1990s, became known for his signature design of UFO spaceships for over 20 years in New York. His murals have been spread out on surfaces of public walls, abandoned buildings, homes and even some of New York's public transport. Over a period of time, his graffiti became easily recognised and identified due to his personal techniques.
The Zero To Hero exhibition will feature some of his New York street art, and simultaneously reveal the never-before-seen sculptures, which required skilled techniques of painting and moulding through the use of mixed media -- including some of his freestyle mural work to studio-oriented artwork such as 907 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall, Trouble With Fill In, Zero To Hero, Play With Me and Too Many Humans. In addition, the exhibition will reveal the event-exclusive work Mini Fiberglass Sculpture, which only has a limited number of 69 pieces.
