Member for Canberra Alicia Payne has announce the birth of her daughter Elena.
"Ben, Paul and I are thrilled to welcome a little girl into our family," Ms Payne wrote on social media on Thursday.
Ms Payne and husband Ben welcomed Elena Patricia Phillips at 7.13am on Monday at Canberra Hospital, weighing 3.48 kilograms.
"Thanks to the team at the Canberra Hospital for providing baby Elena and I with world-class care," Ms Payne said.

"Every day they are involved in what is a momentous day for families. The professionalism and heart they put into it makes all the difference."
She said Elena's brother Paul was excited to meet his little sister.
