Alice Evans has shared how she is preparing for her first Christmas since splitting from her estranged husband Ioan Gruffudd.
The actress, 53, shared a snap on Instagram showing her with her daughter Elsie, eight, decorating a Christmas tree.
In the caption she confessed her other daughter Ella, 12, showed "no interest at all" in sprucing up the tree.
It came after Alice told in a post earlier this month estranged actor husband Ioan, 48, and his girlfriend Bianca Wallace "are besotted" with one another and she needed to "accept that", as she discussed the end of their marriage.
In one snap Elsie is seen placing a decoration on the tree, as the family prepared for the festive period in the US.
Alice, who is in a custody battle with Ioan, wrote in the caption: "8 yo is DETERMINED to do the whole thing herself.
"Chose tree, helped bring it in, showed me how to screw it in ( eek - never done it before) now she's decorating!
"(we're having that very common problem with the lights where it seems you need a double pronged plug extension but she says she's gonna work it out!).
"Amazed! Meanwhile 12yo showing no interest at all and still complaining that we didn't stop at In and Out on Sunset Boulevard on the way to Home Depot. We would have still been in the car if we had!'
In her earlier post Alice wished her ex and his new girlfriend Bianca well in their new relationship.
She wrote: "I've been so careful for 20 years. because I wanted a private life. so I looked at them, felt a little embarrassed, also a little warm...
"If they’re that in love then let’s try to make it work for them. and I deliberately did not post or mention anything. and no longer intend to...
"They’re clearly besotted with each other abs i need to accept that. ( Besides, i’ve never had so many hot guys ask me out on DM I’m quite overwhelmed!!!'
Ioan filed for divorce in March before later publicly confirming a new relationship with his Harrow co-star on Instagram.
The divorce papers, which were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on March 1, revealed the former couple separated on New Year's Day.
Ioan and Bianca publicly announced they were in a relationship a month later.
Alice met Iaon on the set of 102 Dalmatians in 2000 and they got engaged six years later.
They got married in an intimate ceremony in Mexico a month later in September 2007.
