Alice Evans became a hero for women everywhere when she spoke out against her estranged husband on TV, an expert says.
Body language expert and author Judi James didn't foresee good things when the 102 Dalmatians actress went on today's Lorraine to talk about her very public break up from fellow actor Ioan Gruffudd.
But she says Alice's quiet dignity and unflinching gaze saw her become a hero for scorned women around the world.
Alice famously spoke out about her husband, Liar and Fantastic Four star Ioan, after he filed for divorce, claiming she had found out from the press.
And when he went public with his new girlfriend Bianca Wallace, she accused them of having an affair, and sarcastically apologised to her for sharing a picture of herself and Ioan together in happier times.
During her appearance on ITV show Lorraine today, Alice spoke about how devastated she was when she discovered her husband's "mistress", revealed the moment she knew the relationship was over, and cried as she spoke about living every woman's "worst nightmare".
And while she may have become emotional, Judi thinks Alice walked away looking strong and confident.
Here's what she had to say...
Quite how Alice was going to succeed on the dignity front with the prospect of a Lorraine-based pity-dump on the cards felt like anybody’s guess but this clip suggests she not only achieved the impossible but also came out looking like a bit of a hero for all women going through a similar experience.
There is no revenge dress or weight loss flaunting here, just an intelligent and assertive looking woman sharing her experiences.

Her visual framing looks almost regally elegant, like the Queen's speech, and her eye gaze is unflinching as she tells her story.
Alice looks like a strong, confident woman emotionally knocked back by events here.
Her facial features act out the narrative in an illustrative ritual, but without any apparent overkill in terms of the drama.
