Actor Alia Bhatt has called boyfriend and actor Ranbir Kapoor ‘MY special man’ in a new Instagram post after her Filmfare Award win on Saturday. She shared two pictures of herself and in the caption, shared a note of thanks for all who supported her throughout her journey, her boyfriend included.
“And last but not the least MY special one - the one that makes my heart smile and eyes shine. And shine I will.. Because there’s soo much to do in life.. And this is just the beginning,” she wrote about Ranbir in the post. Check out her full post:
A big feeling I have been feeling off late is gratitude.. Meghna Gulzar - to me first - raazi and everything about raazi is you - your effort, your tears, your love, your care it’s you you you and just you.. I love you main chick. The entire crew, all actors including my beautiful mother, jaideep and and vicky my iqbal without whom this world wouldn’t have come alive.. This is your win too so thank you...I have soo much to be thankful for.. My mom & Dad who have always let me breathe & been my friends first.

She also gave a special mention to Ranbir at the awards. She called him her ‘special man’ in her speech as she took home the Best Actor (Female) award for Raazi. After receiving the award, Alia said, “Meghna for me Raazi is you, your blood and sweat. You are my main chick. Vicky without you, the film wouldn’t be complete. Thank you my mentor Karan for being my mentor, father and my fashion police. Tonight’s all about love there my special one, I love you (Ranbir Kapoor).”
As Alia gave her speech, cameras caught Ranbir blushing. He was seen covering his face with his hands, much to the audience’s delight. A picture also showed them holding hands and her giving his a kiss.
In another picture, Ranbir and Alia are seen sitting close to actor Deepika Padukone, Ranbir’s ex girlfriend and now married to Ranveer Singh. He is also seen behind them, having a word with someone.
The star-studded night was attended by Sonam Kapoor, Jahnvi Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Sunny Leone, Kajol, Arjun Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar among many others. Ayushmann Khurrana, Neena Gupta, Gajraj Rao, Vicky Kaushal were awarded at the function for their work. Films like Raazi, Aandhadhun, Badhaai Ho, Sanju and Padmaavat were the big winners.
