Ali Crawford set for Bolton move as former Hamilton midfielder agrees move from Doncaster

Ali Crawford is set to join Bolton Wanderers.

The former Hamilton midfielder has agreed a one-year deal with the English League One outfit.

Wanderers have only just come out of administration and were only saved from possible liquidation last week.

They have since had their signing embargo lifted and that has allowed Crawford to make the switch from Doncaster Rovers.

The 28-year-old move to Rovers last season but has fallen out of favour with new manager Darren Moore.

New Wanderers boss Keith Hill is now set to make Crawford one of his first signings.

Crawford spent the majority of his career at Hamilton Accies, playing 271 times over nine years and scoring 38 goals.

His best campaign came in the Premiership in 2016/17 when he netted 10 goals in 42 games over the course of the season while he also netter 10 in the 201415 season.

He played 42 times for Doncaster last season before falling out of favour and will now look to try and help Bolton get out of their relegation battle.

He also had a short spell on trial at Hearts.
