The team was able to claim victory in the match point format finale with 86 points after a tense nine matches, earning themselves $600,00 in prize money.
Oblivion win the ALGS Year 5 Championship

16,000 spectators cheered as Bowen “Monsoon” Fuller, Brandon “FunFPS” Groombridge, and Miguel “Blinkzr” Quiles clinched victory on Storm Point in a tense final ring against teams SUPERNOVA and Hot Dog Mafia. Oblivion played calmly and carefully despite the high stakes as they moved to take on a final fight in the outer ring of Pylon, as there was no room for error.
Oblivion is an orgless, unsigned Apex Legends team from North America who steadily gained points throughout the nine matches on Sunday. Almost half of the lobby had reached match point by Match 9, including previous champions Falcons, who missed out on winning LAN in an incredibly close final 3v3 in Match 8.

Announced just after Match 3, three tournament dates and locations were confirmed for ALGS Year 6. Alongside the confirmation that another year of Apex Legends esports is in order came the news that the prize pool has increased to seven million dollars.

Year 6 of the Apex Legends Global Series is living up to its name by taking each of its three tournaments all over the world. Split 1 will take place alongside the Esports World Cup, while Split 2 heads to Las Vegas for Halloween weekend. Champs will run over to 2027 and finish off the event once again in Sapporo, Japan, a location that has recently become a staple for the event.
