Rangers have successfully appealed Alfredo Morelos' yellow card in the clash against Livingston.
The Colombian striker was shown a caution for diving by referee John Beaton in the Premiership clash at the Tony Macaroni Arena.
However, Lions' keeper Max Stryjek was shown to make contact with the Ibrox attacker's foot in the penalty box in video replays.
The decision sparked an angry reaction from Steven Gerrard who confronted referee Beaton and was shown two yellow cards at half-time.
Unlike most yellow card offences, the SFA allow a booking for simulation to be appealed and the league leaders were quick to contest Morelos' punishment.
Rangers ' claim for 'wrongful caution for simulation' was fast-tracked and the booking has now been overturned.
The club can now focus on potentially becoming champions by the end of the weekend.
Victory against St Mirren on Saturday and a slip-up from Celtic at Tannadice would mean the Govan outfit claim their 55th league title.
