Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos is once again the subject of transfer speculation today after Serie A side Cagliari reportedly saw a cut-price offer rejected.
The Colombian international has spent the summer being linked with a variety of different clubs, with Portuguese giants Porto credited with making an official bid for the striker.
However, Portuguese news outlet A Bola state that the only offer received so far this summer for the striker has been from Cagliari at a 'lowball' €8million - but that Steven Gerrard and the Gers hierarchy will not consider negotiating with any suitor unless they are willing to start the bidding at €15million.
Morelos, 25, has established himself as a fan favourite amongst the Ibrox club's hierarchy over the last three seasons and he scored 17 goals in all competitions last season as Rangers claimed their first Premiership title since 2011.
It remains to be seen whether Morelos will indeed leave, or if the carrot of potentially playing in the Champions League group stages could keep him in Glasgow for at least one more season.
