Alfredo Morelos shows cheeky side as Rangers star winds up skipper James Tavernier

He's often harshly misportrayed as a grumpy figure but Alfredo Morelos is often spoken about as being a joker in the Rangers dressing room.

It was a rare rest for the Colombian during the the 4-0 win over Cove Rangers and he was sat in the stands during the game.

His captain James Tavernier was discussing the game with goalscorers Jermain Defoe and Kemar Roofe while watching the rest of the half after being subbed off but Morelos wasn't letting them sit quietly.

He was having some fun himself and was picking up the tape he had used on his socks before the game and was throwing it at his captain and hitting Roofe too.

Tavernier shook his head and laughed as he turned round to find Morelos in fits of laughter at what he had done and supporters loved it too.

El Bufalo was having a lot of fun and it's a further example of how much he's enjoying himself at the club at present.

Morelos has been in brilliant form in recent months and has five goals in his last five league games.

He'll likely be back in the starting line-up next week when Rangers face Hibs in the first post-split game.
