Alfredo Morelos shares Rangers throwback as Ibrox star's future remains in doubt

The closing of the transfer window might have given Rangers fans a bit of relief that Alfredo Morelos was still at the club.

Then Record Sport exclusively revealed that Qatar club Al-Duhail were still interested in taking him and were set to return with another offer before their window closed.

To make it worse, Morelos himself has since declared that he will 'decide his future' within the next few days, leaving Rangers fans worried once more that their star striker might be about to leave.

El Bufalo is on international duty with Colombia at present and although he hasn't been banging in the goals as one might expect so far this season, he has played a key role in the early season form of Rangers.

He's no longer just the battering ram but he's actively dropping deep to create space for runners such as Ryan Kent and Scott Arfield to go in behind.

And now he's shared a throwback to one of his important Europa League goals on social media.

Morelos scored against Porto in the group stage at Ibrox last season with a stunning touch and finish and UEFA posted a clip of the strike on their accounts.

They captioned it with: "Which part of this goal impressed you more: First touch or finish?

"Flashback to Alfredo Morelos' goal vs Porto."

And the Colombian striker then shared it on his own page, as he once again took the acclaim of the Rangers support.
