Alfredo Morelos sent off for Rangers AGAIN after lashing out at Scott Brown

Alfredo Morelos was guilty of another moment of madness when he lashed out at Scott Brown in an off-the-ball flashpoint.

The Rangers striker swung his left arm in the direction of the Celtic skipper’s face on 31 minutes just after Neil Lennon’s side had taken the lead.

It led to Morelos receiving his fifth red card of the season though his first one against Aberdeen on the opening day of the season was later rescinded.

Although referee Bobby Madden missed the incident as he was concentrating on play, the far side assistant Kevin Clancy spotted Morelos’ meltdown.

It’s the latest reaction from the Colombia forward who has picked up an astonishing 17 yellow cards this season.

Steven Gerrard has defended Morelos to the hilt but there can be little sympthay extended to the 22-year-old this time.

The red card has left Rangers – already trailing to Odsonne Edouard’s stunning opener – with an uphill task.

Fans and pundits have slammed the hitman’s latest moment of madness.

@harry_wwfc: Big well done to Morelos for handing Celtic the title! f**k off

@Gabe_Montoya13: It doesn't take anything with Morelos. He is a huge liability

@Andyboyrangers1: If we lose this game I wouldn't play Kent, Worrall, Morelos or anyone else who won't be at Ibrox again this season

@Cjbtcc: Morelos is a f*****g liability man.
