Alfredo Morelos scores in charity match as Rangers hero keeps fit before Ibrox return

It's been the trend of the summer for Rangers' title winning heroes - playing football with your pals.

A brilliant video of Glen Kamara appeared earlier this week as he played a game of fives with the likes of Alex Iwobi after his Euro 2020 exploits.

And now Alfredo Morelos has been keeping himself ticking over with a charity friendly back home in Colombia earlier this week.

El Bufalo has his own foundation and they faced off against another charity at their base in Cerete - and of course Morelos managed to get himself a goal.

The striker is still in Colombia after international duty although he should return in the next few days with the new league season just eight days away.

With Rangers also having a massive Champions League qualifier on the horizon, Steven Gerrard will be desperate to get him back and involved with the group.

But he was enjoying himself in his homeland as he took part in the friendly and can be seen pinging passes around the pitch as well as scoring a stunning long range strike.

The Ibrox frontman loves scoring goals whether it's with his pals or against Celtic and you could see the delight on his face when a long range effort goes in.

Watch the clip of the striker in action above.
