Porto have identified an alternative target as their chase for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos continues, according to a Portuguese report.
The Liga NOS side are hoping to land the Colombian striker this summer but Ibrox chiefs are keen to get top dollar for their talisman if he is to leave.
And that's led to a report in daily paper Jornal de Noticias who claim Porto chiefs could now instead swoop for German frontman Lukas Nmecha.
That comes as a surprise as it was claimed last week that the Manchester City striker was all set for an £8.5m move to RB Leipzig but there have been no further developments.
The move is yet to come to fruition and it appears Porto may look to hijack the Bundesliga side's interest.

There remains strong interest from the Dragons in Morelos however despite conflicting reports his agents were in Portugal last week for a deal that had nothing to do with the Rangers frontman.
Any deal may be facilitated by the exit of their playmaker Otavio.
Liverpool are said to be after him and his £34m release clause expires by the end of this week.
