Alfredo Morelos' Rangers transformation hilariously summed up by Allan McGregor

Rangers are certainly reaping the rewards from Alfredo Morelos' improved discipline this season.

The striker's behaviour was a problem for Steven Gerrard's men last term as he picked five red cards, although one was rescinded, and 18 bookings.

His suspensions seriously hurt his side, but this year is a different story.

The transformation is clear to see and Allan McGregor put it perfectly when he was asked about his impressive run of form.

He said: "It's good to see he's calmed down a wee bit as well.

"It's a good one coming from me right enough."

It's what every Light Blues fan is thinking this season because a Rangers side with Alfredo Morelos is better than one without him. And too many times he was shooting himself, and his team, in the foot with unnecessary red cards and missing important matches.

The Colombian showed last night that's all firmly behind him as his brilliantly-taken opening goal against Porto fired Rangers to another Europa League victory.

He also added an assist for Steven Davis to cap off another exemplary performance from the 23-year with the Ibrox side joint top of their group and on course to qualify for the last-32.
