Alfredo Morelos' Rangers title sing-song revealed as Colombian stuns teammates with 'perfect English' fan chants

Fan favourite Alfredo Morelos adopts a serious persona on the pitch as a talisman for Rangers.

However, it appears to be a totally different story in the dressing room according to Ibrox sporting director Ross Wilson.

The striker was front and centre for the Premiership title celebrations last weekend as the newly-crowned champions lapped up the moment at Ibrox and Auchenhowie.

Wilson revealed that even the staff were left shocked by the language skills shown by Morelos during the celebrations.

The recruitment guru has revealed that the Colombian started singing supporter chants in “perfect English” as stunned teammates watched on.

He told The Telegraph : "He is not even supposed to be able to speak English so it was quite a sight to behold.

Morelos was overjoyed at the club's Auchenhowie training base after winning the league (SNS Group)

"I don’t know what happened to him. Winning title number 55 seems to have given him a facility for English on the spot. Unbelievable! He has not stopped talking since."

It's not the first time this season the striker has shown his musical side.

Following the win over Livingston, Steven Gerrard revealed Morelos was dancing around in the dressing room after netting the winner.

The boss joked: "He's just scored the winner and he's dancing around there to 'Sweet Caroline' with no top on."
