Nacho Novo has taken to Instagram to claim Alfedo Morelos is unfairly highlighted for incidents that other players get away with.
The Rangers striker has been criticised following an incident with Ryan Porteous during his side's 1-0 win over Hibs at Easter Road on Wednesday night.
Broadcaster Sky Sports showed numerous replays of the incident and pundits Kris Boyd and James McFadden both claimed it should be a red card.
Steven Gerrard insisted he hadn't seen it properly and there were a few flashpoints that needed looked at more by the referee during the game.
And that's clearly something Novo agrees with as the Spaniard posted images of incidents involving Darren McGregor and Porteous again during the game.
McGregor was booked after wrestling Glen Kamara to the ground before landing on his leg and Porteous was involved in a challenge with Ryan Jack in the second half.
And Novo posted screenshots of both and said: “Ok now all the social media try to put Alfredo down what about this 2? That’s my point.”
Rangers fans agreed with him too with writing: “They are just picking on Alfie. Fair enough if you think it’s a red but people are really going for him.”
Another wrote: “Double standards as always.”
