Alfredo Morelos' Rangers celebration message as Colombian marks return to form v Aberdeen

Alfredo Morelos rediscovered his scoring touch with a double against Aberdeen and sent a message back to Colombia to celebrate.

The Rangers striker netted in each half to hand Steven Gerrard ’s side a 2-1 victory at Pittodrie and send the Ibrox side 22 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Morelos opened the scoring shortly after James tavernier had missed a spot kick, and raced off to the corner to celebrate before speaking directly into the Sky Sports camera.

He said: "Te amo mucho mi amor", which translates as "I love you very much my love."

That was certainly meant for his partner Yesenia and young daughter Leonela back in his homeland.

Morelos hasn’t been nearly as prolific for the light blues this season, with Kemar Roofe and James Tavernier plundering the goals instead.

Prior to this afternoon’s game, he’d notched just once in the league since November, and his strikes to down The Dons took him to 10 for the campaign.
