Alfredo Morelos issues rallying Rangers call ahead of Feyenoord showdown

Alfredo Morelos has urged Rangers to kick on following Saturday's battling win over Livingston.

Steven Gerrard 's side were forced to come from behind to secure a 3-1 victory after a second half scare at Ibrox.

Steven Lawless put Livi in front from the penalty spot before James Tavernier's swinging free-kick levelled the score.

Morelos then headed in the winner and Brandon Barker made the points safe with a third after Gary Holt's side had been reduced to 10 men.

The Colombian's strike was his 11th in 13 games and he's called on his team-mates to produce another result this Thursday against Feyenoord in the Europa League.

He wrote on Instagram: "Linda victoria vamos por mas el", which translates to "Nice victory let's go for more".

The win kept Gerrard's team in touch with Celtic at the Premiership summit, albeit three points behind following their derby defeat earlier this month.

Rangers will also be without Ryan Kent for the next few weeks after he hobbled off injured just 40 minutes into his Ibrox return.

The winger has picked up a hamstring issue that Gerrard admits will force him to make do without his £7million signing.

He said: "He has got a hamstring (problem) and we will look at that in the coming days and see how bad it is.

"We'll assess it in the coming days but I predict he'll be missing for at least a few weeks.

"It's a blow for us - we wanted it to be all about Ryan today but it wasn't to be. But we have enough bodies and enough talent to cope without him."
