Rangers could be without Alfredo Morelos for Sunday's clash with Motherwell after he tweaked his hamstring on Thursday night.
The Ibrox side are definitely without Ryan Kent with the winger set to undergo a scan that could rule him our for a few weeks.
The news of the two injuries is a blow to Steven Gerrard ahead of Sunday's game - which is set to be a celebration for Rangers as they finally raise the league flag.
But they could have to do it without two of their key players with Morelos and Kent both hurting their hamstrings.
The former Liverpool winger is likely to be ruled out for between three and four weeks while Gerrard will hope that Morelos will be able to return soon after the Motherwell clash.
He said: “Ryan Kent will be sent for a scan today. He will obviously be out for the weekend and could miss a few weeks but we will know more this evening.
“Alfredo Morelos has a tight hamstring and is a doubt for the weekend but it’s not an issue on Kent’s level.”
Rangers have been hit with Covid and injury issues throughout this season so far and haven't been able to get a settled team on to the pitch.
The Rangers boss admits that’s a frustration but insists it shows why the size of his squad is so important.
He added: “Having everyone fit and available and in top form is the dream scenario.
“We haven’t had a real settled squad so far this season with injuries and Covid to get some rhythm going but this is an issue we have to deal with.
“The squad, even more so than the previous three years, will be very important.”
