Rangers star Alfredo Morelos is not tipped to start for Colombia when they take on Chile this evening.
The striker has been recalled to the squad by Carlos Queiroz after being dropped from the squad for the Copa America, and will be hoping to add to his three caps over the international break.
According to the Colombian edition of AS though, the Rangers man is not likely to start the friendly against Chile this evening.
Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata is expected to lead the line, having scored six goals in seven Serie A games so far this season to add to the 23 he notched in the last campaign.
That leaves the wide positions open in Queiroz's 4-3-3 shape, but AS doesn't believe Morelos is being considered there.
Luis Muriel, Luis Sinisterra, Luis Díaz and Roger Martínez are capable of playing that role, with Muriel and Martinez tipped to start.
In his pre-match press conference former Manchester United assistant Queiroz appeared to confirm that Muriel and Zapata will both start, but offered hope to Morelos ahead of the Algeria friendly.
He said: "It (Zapata and Muriel together) is an option, there are no mysteries here.
"I don't like to transform the national team into a mystery. Things have to be clear, very rational.
"It's a great option for Colombia to have two players like Duván and Muriel ready to play. Sadly they couldn't do that in the Copa America because of Muriel's injury.
"There are two friendly matches and we will try to give all the players the opportunity, if possible, to play."
